“HE SAVED THEM”

“Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, that He might make His mighty power to be known.” Psalms 106:8

God’s purpose of grace in Christ Jesus our Lord is the full and complete redemption of all His chosen people to the praise and glory of His free and sovereign grace - Eph 1:5-6 “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved.”

There is no possibility of failure in the accomplishment of this great work because it is the purpose and will of Almighty God. It is written in the eternal counsels of the Triune God from everlasting. The Lord Jesus Christ, the Surety of that covenant, fulfilled every obligation and signed it with His blood. Not only is the eternal destiny of His people at stake, above that, His glory, honor and power is at stake. What God purposed for His church, Christ accomplished. All the virtues and attributes of God was and is involved in the salvation of the elect. It is not just a mere mistake of how men word the phrase - “Let Jesus come into your heart” or “Accept Jesus as your personal Savior”, it is a deliberate denial that salvation is by the grace of God in Christ alone, and it is a declaration that salvation is by the works of man. The Church of the Living God is those whom God loves with an everlasting love, those that Christ redeemed with His precious blood, those that the efficacious Spirit of God resurrects from spiritual death and darkness and gives Spiritual life in Christ. The conclusion of all things as pertaining to time and it’s purpose is the presentation of the Church to God the Father by God the Son at the marriage supper of the Lamb - Eph 5:27 “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
